Discover the Power of Authentic Meditation
Learn how to go deep into your being and truly meditate.
In today’s world, there is chaos in the understanding of meditation. Many believe they are meditating when listening to relaxing music on YouTube, resting on a yoga mat, or simply sitting in silence trying to think of nothing.
Unfortunately, none of this is true meditation.
What is
Authentic Meditation?
Meditation is an art.
It is the ability to consciously control your mind and expand it across various levels.
In true meditation, we have an object with which we consciously create a connection.
Our mind and consciousness pass through several stages:
This is the very beginning of the journey.
Normally, our mind constantly wanders between memories of the past and planning for the future. Becoming present is a conscious decision to stop this exhausting flow.
By anchoring your attention to your breath and physical body, you return to the only moment that truly exists – the "here and now." You cease to be a victim of your thoughts and become a silent, present observer.
Our senses normally act as antennas, continuously absorbing stimuli from the environment (sounds, movement, temperature).
In this phase (known in Yoga as Pratyahara), we learn to consciously withdraw this attention inward. Background noise, distractions, or physical discomfort gradually lose their power. You create an invisible, safe, and silent shield around yourself, where the outside world simply has no access.
When external noise fades, we often find that the loudest noise is inside – our "monkey mind."
Concentration is the training of how to tame this scattered mind and focus its immense energy into a single point (for example, the breath, a light, or a mantra). It is a state of absolute, laser-like focus from which unprecedented inner stability, clarity, and strength are born.
While concentration requires our effort and will, true meditation is a state we naturally "slip into."
When focus becomes uninterrupted and fluid, the effort simply falls away. The boundaries between ourselves and our surroundings dissolve. Consciousness expands, bringing an indescribable inner peace, and we connect directly with our true, deep essence—far beyond the limits of ordinary rational thinking.
Meditation and Authentic
Hatha Yoga
In the tradition of Authentic Hatha Yoga, meditation represents one of the highest stages of an individual's spiritual development.
It is the path to spiritual self-realization and deep transformation. According to the master Patanjali, meditation is followed by Samádhi Samadhi – enlightenment, the final and absolute highest stage of Yoga.
A human being who learns to meditate authentically, practices regularly, and remains consistent can achieve advanced states of consciousness and true spiritual growth.
Deep Inner Self-Discovery
Meditation is not just a spiritual technique.
It is an amazing and fulfilling journey of self-discovery on a completely different level—the level of our inner world, heart, and soul.
We can travel the entire world and achieve incredible personal or professional goals. However, unless we find the space to go deep into ourselves, into the silence, and into meditation itself, we cannot truly know ourselves.
The external world and experiences only provide superficial answers to who we are. The real answer – who we are, why we came here, and what our highest purpose is – can only be found in the silence of authentic meditation. In addition to clearing the mind, meditation brings a state of profound inner peace, joy, and internal balance.
"To a mind that is still
the whole universe surrenders."
Lao Tzu (Ancient Master)
